In June 2019, Plantae Labs made a strategic move to acquire its state-of-the-art facilities in Santiago, Chile, which serve as the company’s central hub for operations, including offices and quality control laboratories. This marked a significant step in our ongoing mission to strengthen our presence in the feed and agriculture industries and deliver high-quality, sustainable solutions to our customers. With the growing demand for our innovative, natural formulas and phytogenic solutions, we recognized the need to further expand our capabilities and enhance our research, development, and production capacity.
Earlier this year, Plantae Labs took the next logical step by committing to a significant expansion of its laboratories and liquid extract formulation plant. This expansion aims to meet the increasing market demands and strengthen our ability to develop and deliver cutting-edge, eco-friendly products that are both effective and scientifically validated.
The new buildings, set to open in December 2020, will include a 200 m² Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I) center, as well as advanced quality control laboratories. Equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology, these facilities will enable Plantae Labs to develop, quantify, and enhance our natural formulas with even greater precision. The new labs will also allow us to conduct extensive testing to ensure the highest levels of quality and safety, aligning with our commitment to delivering sustainable, safe, and effective solutions.
Additionally, the expansion includes a new formulation plant, designed to scale up production and meet the growing demand for our ingredients. With cutting-edge equipment and a focus on maintaining the highest quality standards, the new plant will ensure that we continue to produce our ingredients at the highest levels of excellence. This expansion not only strengthens our internal capabilities but also reflects our dedication to driving innovation in the feed and agriculture industries.
